When a dedicated animal lover told her husband she was going to pick up a foster puppy, it seemed like a standard day in their household.
They had always been passionate about helping animals in need.
But when she finally walked through the front door in Florida, her husband was in for a bit of a shock.
Instead of the single little dog he was expecting, she was carrying a whole armful of tiny paws.
How Could I Say No?
Staring at the adorable bundle, her husband couldn’t help but ask the obvious question.
“You got three? Why are there three?” he asked, completely bewildered by the sudden multiplication of their foster commitment.

“I don’t know if I’ve slept in two days,” she admitted, laughing through the fatigue.
Despite the lack of sleep, she was thrilled with how well the little ones were adjusting.
Meet The ‘Friends’ Litter
The playful, energetic puppies were given a fun naming theme to match their lively personalities.
They were named after characters from the hit sitcom “Friends.”
First was Rachel, a beautiful and playful little pup.
Then there was Joey, a big love bug who affectionately earned the nickname “Mojo Jojo,” and finally Monica, the smallest sweetie pie of the bunch.
Going Viral For A Good Cause
Knowing these puppies needed forever homes, their foster mom took to social media.
She posted adorable photos and videos of the trio on her Instagram and Facebook pages.
The internet immediately fell in love with Rachel, Joey, and Monica.
Within just two days, there was adoption interest for the entire litter.
Saying Bittersweet Goodbyes
Soon, it was time for the hardest part of fostering: letting them go.
Rachel, now renamed Mable, packed her bags and headed off to her new life in Florida.
Joey, still affectionately called Mojo, found his forever home in Maryland.
As for little Monica, now named June, she was adopted by a couple in the next town over, meaning her foster parents might still get to see her.
Life Is Too Short
Looking back on the chaotic, sleepless, and incredibly rewarding experience, the foster mom has no regrets.
Taking on three puppies instead of one was a leap of faith, but it resulted in three beautiful lives being saved.
Her philosophy on the whole adventure is one that any animal lover can appreciate.
“Personally, I think life is too short,” she shared. “You should just get the puppies if you want the puppies.”
