Michigan pup Mia spent the first two years of her life as a mother who never left the house. Now, she is finally getting the chance to just be a dog.
A Life Spent Indoors
For the first two years of her life, a sweet dog named Mia knew nothing but the inside of a single house.
She was kept entirely indoors, hidden away from the sunshine, the grass, and the simple joys of being a dog.
Tragically, Mia wasn’t kept inside to be pampered as a beloved family pet.
Instead, she was used relentlessly for profit, having been bred three separate times by the age of two.
Stepping In To Help
When rescuers finally learned about Mia’s situation, they knew they had to intervene.
