The person who spotted her knew she had to intervene before tragedy struck. “I saw her dodging traffic, and I was like, oh my gosh, she’s going to get hit,” the rescuer recalled.
As she approached, it became clear that the stray wasn’t just lost—she was actively seeking help.

“Come here, I don’t have any food to give you, come here,” she called out gently.
