A short hike in California turned into a rescue mission when a hiker found a lost dog far off the trail. With no tools and a frightened pup, they had to think outside the box to get him home.

What was supposed to be a short hike quickly turned into an unexpected rescue mission. Deep in the woods, far from the main trail, a hiker stumbled upon a surprising sight.
