It took four people just to get her into a car, but this deeply depressed rescue dog in California finally found a reason to fight for a second chance at life.
A Heavy Burden To Bear
When a deeply overweight dog named Frannie first arrived in her new caretaker’s life, the situation looked incredibly bleak. It was honestly quite shocking to see her in such a compromised state.

With her new, healthy body, Frannie is experiencing the joys of life she missed out on for so long. This past summer, she even got to visit the dog beach for the very first time.
She can enthusiastically chase her beloved tennis ball and go on much longer walks with ease. Her caretaker often looks at her and wonders how this is even the same dog, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.
