A tiny Chihuahua named Lily Mouse didn’t let her rough start or her small size hold her back from ruling the roost.
A Tiny Guard at the Door
In one Texas foster home, a standoff was taking place at the doorway.
Two massive dogs were waiting patiently outside, unable to come inside the house.

The two large dogs, Moose and Bear, could have easily pushed past the tiny pup.

As her health improved, she started showing her true, larger-than-life personality.
Her foster mom often has to remind her, “You’re a Chihuahua, not a pit bull.”
Her confidence even extends to mealtime in the most hilarious ways.
She has been known to boldly march over and eat all of her giant brothers’ food right in front of them.
Learning from the Best
Living with Moose and Bear has been the perfect environment for the tiny rescue.
Being exposed to these gentle dogs is helping her become less fearful as she gets older.
The socialization is teaching her how to interact safely and confidently.
Because of them, she will definitely be a lot more social in the future.
