They pulled her from the shelter just in time and rushed her straight into surgery for an emergency c-section.

Sadly, four of her puppies did not make it, but two little fighters pulled through the ordeal.

An experienced foster mom, who had been volunteering with Roadogs for a few years, received the call about Bella.

Her foster mom was worried, especially because Bella had a large scar from her emergency c-section.

When her foster mom recently asked if she wanted to go for a walk, Bella did her very first “zoomie.”

A Bittersweet Goodbye For A Beautiful Future
When the puppies are eight to ten weeks old, they will be ready to find their forever homes.
Bella will stay with her foster mom until then, continuing to bond and heal.
Though they have grown incredibly close, Bella will also be put up for adoption so her foster mom can continue saving other dogs in need.
It will be a bittersweet farewell, but as her foster mom says, whoever adopts Bella is going to be incredibly lucky.
