A Heartbreaking Discovery

When rescuers in Texas first spotted the dog, their hearts sank at the sight.

He was wandering with a large plastic container completely wedged onto his head.

It was clear he had been trapped in this terrifying predicament for quite some time.

The plastic jug was squashed and dented, a heartbreaking sign of his desperate attempts to free himself.

Running Out Of Time

The situation was incredibly dire for the trapped animal.

Rescuers estimated that the dog hadn’t been able to eat or drink in probably seven to nine days.

He was growing weaker by the minute, and time was rapidly slipping away.

The Crucial Snip

Knowing they had to act fast, the rescue team carefully approached the frightened dog.

One of the rescuers’ husbands stepped in with a pair of tools to cut the thick plastic.
