When a sweet dog named Annie was found tied to a fence somewhere in Brooklyn, her situation was truly heartbreaking. She had just given birth to babies, and her body showed the undeniable signs of a mother who had recently been nursing.
The police rescued the gentle dog and brought her to a local shelter. Annie’s health was not in great shape upon her arrival.
