Living out in the Texas countryside usually means that any wandering dog belongs to a neighbor. So when a skinny little dog appeared under a family’s carport one day, they assumed he was just passing through.
He sat quietly in the shade, looking exhausted and uncertain.
The family figured he would eventually head back to his own home. But as the hours ticked by, the solitary pup never moved.
Still Waiting In The Morning
When the next morning arrived, the family stepped outside to a heartbreaking sight. The little dog was still sitting right where they had left him.
Taking a closer look, it became immediately clear that this was no neighborhood pet on a stroll.
