Once settled in her recovery suite, the extent of the dog’s past trauma was clear. She had sustained several serious injuries, most notably to both of her back hips.
Her body told a story of a very hard life on the streets. She was covered in bruises, old scars, and painful scrapes.
Yet, none of that physical pain seemed to dampen her spirit. She was finally safe, and she seemed to know it.
