An Unexpected Sight
It was supposed to be a straightforward trip through California. The rescuer was riding their bike down a busy road, carefully navigating the traffic.
They already had their hands full. Strapped securely to their chest was a dog, happily on its way to being officially adopted.
But as they pedaled alongside a steady stream of heavy trucks, something caught their eye on the right side of the road. It was a sight that immediately made them hit the brakes.
The Discarded Box
Sitting dangerously close to the passing traffic was a cardboard box. It looked entirely out of place in the dirt and debris of the shoulder.
