A litter of sick puppies found abandoned in a Connecticut barn needed a miracle. Thanks to a dedicated foster mom, the tiny runt fought through pneumonia to become the star of the show.
A Rush To Save Them
Seeing small, vulnerable puppies without their mother is an absolutely heartbreaking sight. For one local woman, a routine day turned into a rescue mission when she heard a faint sound.
Crying was coming from inside a barn, leading her to a heartbreaking discovery. A litter of abandoned puppies was huddled together, desperately needing help.
They were very sick and missing much of their fur, prompting an urgent call to a dedicated animal foster named Stacey, who rushed right over.
The Tiniest Fighter
Among the litter was the runt, a tiny puppy named Moksa.
Moksa was in terrible shape, struggling with a rattling breath that worried everyone.
Her rescuers truly didn’t know if the fragile pup was going to survive.
Quarantine And Care
Stacey brought the puppies to her house, immediately setting up a safe space.
She had to keep Moksa isolated so her siblings wouldn’t catch her pneumonia.
While juggling the care of the other four puppies separately, Stacey gave Moksa round-the-clock medication and nutrition.
A Spitfire Spirit
Despite how incredibly sick she was, Moksa had more energy than anyone expected.
She started standing up, looking around, and making an adorable little squeaking sound.
Her foster mom quickly realized this tiny girl was a little spitfire who was winning over everyone’s hearts.
Reunited With The Pack
Once Moksa was healthy enough, she was finally put back with her siblings.
She didn’t let her small size hold her back for a second.
Her attitude was bold, acting as if she was just as big as the other guys in the litter.
Unique Little Personalities
As they healed, all of the puppies began to show off their own unique personalities.
Some were a little more mellow and chill, while others were bursting with energy.
But the one thing they all had in common was how much they loved to play and be around people.
An Unexpected Yoga Class
The rescue’s journey took a fun turn when a local yoga instructor reached out about hosting a puppy yoga class.
The rescuers didn’t know exactly how the puppies would react to the environment.
But as soon as the dogs entered the room, nobody cared about doing yoga anymore.

The puppies immediately went right up to people’s faces to hand out licks and kisses.
A young teenager in the class gave them all the attention, love, and snuggles they could ever want.
The pups soaked it all up, knowing for sure that they were the stars of the class.

Looking at these happy, healthy dogs now, you would never know they were found in such traumatic circumstances.
Their rough start in a cold barn is now just a distant memory.
