Texas Owner Attempts To End Pool Time, But Her Stubborn Pup Has One More Trick Up Her Sleeve

A Simple Request

Every Texas dog owner knows the routine of letting their pup out for a quick bathroom break.

For one owner, the instructions were clear and simple.

She just needed her dog, Pearl, to go potty and only potty.

But Pearl had a completely different agenda in mind for her time outside.

All Business In The Water

Instead of listening to the rules, Pearl made a beeline for her favorite spot.

The second she gets into the backyard pool, it is all business.

Her owner could only sigh as the stubborn pup splashed into the water.

For Pearl, it was officially her time to shine.

Time For Fetch

Once Pearl is in the water, she expects full participation.

She has to have someone play fetch with her while she paddles around.

Her owner tossed the toy, asking how Pearl could possibly be so cute.

The joyful dog eagerly swam after her prize, completely ignoring the fact that her owner had to go to work.

The Soapy Escape

Eventually, playtime had to end, and Pearl needed a quick bath.

Her owner managed to get her out and started lathering her up with soap.

But Pearl is a little stinker who knows exactly how to slip away.

She got off her leash, completely covered in soap, and made a run for it.

Back To The Pool

To her owner’s dismay, the soapy dog headed straight back to the pool.

She jumped right back into the water, forcing her owner to beg her to come out and get dried off.

It is a routine they go through every single time.

Pearl is incredibly stubborn when it comes to leaving her beloved water.

The Ultimate Weapon

When Pearl is finally forced out of the pool, she does not hide her disappointment.

She acts a little mad at her owner, sitting by the edge and begging to go back in.

That is when she deploys her ultimate weapon: the puppy-dog eyes.

Her owner admits that it is incredibly hard to say no to that face.

A Water Dog Through And Through

The puppy-dog eyes work every single time.

Unable to resist her sweet face, her owner finally caves and asks if she wants to go back in the pool.

Pearl is a water dog, through and through, and nothing can keep her away from it.

She is living her absolute best life, one splash at a time.
