A Cautious Little Fuzzball
When Walter first arrived at his new home in Texas, he didn’t look like a giant at all. In fact, his family remembers him as just a very tiny, cautious little fuzzball.
He was timid as he took in his new surroundings, unsure of what to expect from his new life.

Despite his massive size, Walter still has the heart and energy of a playful puppy. He can definitely be rambunctious when the mood strikes him.
When he gets the zoomies in the backyard, his family knows to brace themselves. He is a big klutz who sometimes forgets just how large he really is.
The kids learned pretty quickly to stick near a fence or a play structure. It’s the best way to ensure they don’t accidentally get knocked over by 140 pounds of pure joy.

Walter’s happiness is impossible to miss, especially when he’s spending time with the people he loves most. But his joy comes with a minor hazard.
When he’s really happy and his tail is wagging, it becomes a force of nature. The kids know they have to watch out for the tail to avoid a friendly thwack.
His family affectionately compares living with him to a scene out of “Beauty and the Beast.” He may look formidable, but his heart is pure gold.
A Tiny New Addition
The family’s dynamic shifted again when they decided to bring home a rescue cat. Introducing a tiny feline to a 140-pound dog could have been nerve-wracking.
However, the new arrival had no fear of the massive canine. She instantly took to Walter, seeing right past his giant stature.

They perfectly mimic the famous dynamic of the big, tough bulldog and the little, tiny kitten resting on top of him.
Despite his incredible size, the tiny cat completely runs the show. Walter happily steps back and just lets her do whatever she wants.
A Dream Come True
Walter loves his family deeply, and he never hesitates to show it. He’s always ready to lean in and give you kisses.
