Texas Woman Adopted A Struggling Dog Without Meeting Her, Then Faced A Problem No Treat Could Fix
When a Texas woman saw a sick, crying dog online, she knew she had to help. But bringing the pup home was only the beginning of a challenging and heartwarming journey to recovery.
A Heartbreaking First Glance
When the woman first laid eyes on the dog’s photo, her heart sank. The poor pup could barely even open her eyes.
She would just sit there, crying and coughing in obvious distress. The sight was enough to make anyone pause, but for this rescuer, it was a call to action.
Without even meeting the dog in person, she made a life-changing decision. She went online and officially adopted her, determined to give the suffering animal a chance.
A Hesitant Arrival

Her little body was so frail and exhausted from whatever she had been through. She could only manage to stand for a couple of minutes at a time.

The Doggy Charcuterie Board
Knowing the dog needed solid foods to survive, her mom decided to get creative. She wondered if the pup was just too nervous to eat while being watched.

Now, she is huge, and because she is definitely still a puppy, she is going to keep getting bigger and stronger.
Looking back, her mom admits she didn’t know what she was getting herself into with such a sick dog. But as she watches her healthy, happy pup today, she knows it was all worth it, saying simply, “I needed her… This is my dog.”
