A Heartbreaking Phone Call
He had been found wandering the streets of Georgia alone, unsure of where to go next. When animal control scanned his microchip, they thought they had found his ticket home.

When greeting guests at the door, he is surprisingly polite, offering a calm hello rather than jumping all over them.

Because of his big head and muscular build, a lot of people assume Hendrix is a pit bull. This has led to some heartbreaking reactions in public.
When Kay walked her previous fluffy dog, people would cross the street just to come say hello. Now, she experiences the exact opposite.
Strangers will actively cross the road to avoid walking near Hendrix.
It makes Kay quite sad, because all this kindhearted boy ever wants is for people to say hello and give him some love.
A Growing Family
To ensure Hendrix always has a friend to play with, Kay decided to expand their family once again. She brought home another dog named Nala.
The two dogs have bonded beautifully, and Kay couldn’t be happier with how well they get along.
