California Dog Raised Alongside Two Felines Decides He Is Actually A Cat
Uly the dog has spent his life living with two cats, and he has adopted all of their quirky habits. From climbing up high to snuggling with his feline brothers, this clumsy pup is convinced he’s just a very large cat.
A Feline Identity Crisis

Sometimes, animals pick up the strangest habits from their housemates.
For a dog named Uly, living with felines has completely shifted his perspective on life. In fact, his owner often finds him perched in unusual, high-up places.
“Hey, what are you doing up there?” his owner can be heard asking in a video, catching the pup sitting exactly where a cat would.
“They turned my dog into a cat,” she jokes. It is clear to everyone in the house that Uly simply doesn’t know he isn’t a feline.
Picking Up The Quirks

Uly’s entire world has been shaped by his two feline siblings, Oscar and Earnest.
Because all he has ever known is living with these two cats, he has closely observed their daily routines.
Right away, the observant dog started picking up all of their little quirks and habits.
To Uly, the logic makes perfect sense. He thinks, “This is great, we’re all the same.”
The Reserved Older Brother

Of course, not every cat in the house is thrilled by the energetic dog’s antics.
Oscar, one of the resident felines, has always been more on the reserved side.
He prefers peace and quiet, and he certainly doesn’t put up with any of Uly’s foolishness.
In Oscar’s mind, Uly should just be quiet and mind his own business.
Partners In Chaos

While Oscar prefers his personal space, the other cat, Earnest, has a completely different personality.
Earnest is very rambunctious, which pairs perfectly with Uly’s clumsy, fast, and loud nature.
Instead of running away from the noisy dog, Earnest actually likes it.
He loves initiating play with Uly, and the two of them really like to create chaos together around the house.
A Strange But Beautiful Friendship

The dynamic between the dog and the cats wasn’t exactly what their owner originally anticipated.
“I thought their relationship was gonna be one way, and they surprised me and have a very strange friendship,” she explains.
Uly is so eager to be part of the feline pack that he takes any kind of attention from the cats as a wonderful thing.
Even a swat or a grumpy look is interpreted 100 percent as positive by the happy pup.
Living The Carefree Life

Uly just wants to fit right in with his brothers, and at the end of the day, he really does.
He loves snuggling up with Earnest, proving that they are just the best of buddies.
While he might be an odd, highly energetic boy, he approaches every day with pure joy.
For Uly, everything is great and there is no need to worry about anything. As his owner perfectly sums it up: “I forever want to experience life how Uly experiences life.”
