After being abandoned in a box, this ten-pound puppy needed a safe place to heal. A foster dad took her in, but she had to face three giant dogs first.

A Heartbreaking Discovery

For a tiny puppy named Hannah Barka, the world started out as a very scary place. She and the rest of her litter were heartlessly abandoned, dumped on the side of a California road in a cardboard box.

Luckily, a kind stranger spotted the box before anything terrible could happen to the vulnerable babies. They were scooped up and rushed to a local shelter for a second chance.
