California Rescue Dog Kept Everyone At A Distance Until Something Changed On Day Four
A sweet California puppy named Loki helps a misunderstood rescue dog break out of her shell and learn what true love and affection really mean.
Finding The Perfect Match
Loki came into his family’s life when he was just seven and a half weeks old. He was a funny, playful, and excitable puppy who constantly made his owners laugh.
By the time he turned 10 months old, his family decided it was time to give him a sibling. They hoped a companion would match his joyful energy and give him a lifelong friend.
Their search led them to a sweet female dog named Lily. She was staying in a foster home at the time, and her future family immediately fell in love with her.
Scars Of The Past
Lily is an American Bully, a breed that is often unfairly judged. Her ears had been cropped before she was rescued.
Her owners noted that the cropping is often done just for the look of it, specifically to make the dogs appear meaner.
