A Lonely Sight In Dallas
Content creator Harry King Cannon, also known as Pigeon Vizion, was driving around Dallas, Texas, working on a project when something caught his eye.
Near an abandoned building, a dog was running through the empty parking lot all by herself.
Concerned for her safety, Harry decided to investigate. He jumped over a fence to get closer, hoping to figure out what was going on.
Cornered And Scared
As Harry approached, the dog got scared and retreated to a corner.
She was completely shut down. “You could just see in her eyes just how defeated she really looked,” Harry recalled.
It was clear to him that she was lonely and in bad shape. She seemed to have given up entirely, looking exhausted and tired.
Deciding To Help
Seeing the dog in such a vulnerable state broke Harry’s heart. “How could somebody do this to a poor dog like this?” he wondered.
Despite her fear, the dog wasn’t aggressive at all. Harry knew he couldn’t leave her there.
“I just wanted to see hope in her eyes and see her like happy again,” he said. He made the decision to take her with him.
A Misleading Diagnosis
Harry took the dog, who he named Stella, to an animal hospital for a checkup.

The veterinarians took x-rays and discovered the shocking truth: Stella had a broken pelvis.

The situation was even worse than a broken bone. Stella’s insides were blocked with things she had eaten out of desperation—bones, styrofoam cups, and other debris.

Harry was relieved to have her back home. He realized how close she had come to a different fate.
“I’m convinced if I didn’t do what I did for her… she most likely would have been euthanized just because of how serious her injuries were,” he shared.
A Misunderstood Sweetheart
Despite her breed’s unfair reputation, Stella proved to be incredibly gentle. “She is just the sweetest girl,” Harry said.
The vet had found a microchip and tried to contact her previous owners, but no one answered the calls.
This confirmed Harry’s suspicion that Stella had been abandoned to fend for herself.
Attached At The Hip
As Stella recovered, she grew incredibly close to Harry. “It almost feels like she’s like my daughter. She’s so attached to the hip to me,” he said.
Initially, Harry had planned to foster Stella and find her a new family.
But as time passed and their bond deepened, his plans changed. “The more I kept her, the more I realized I don’t think I can give her away at this point,” he admitted, ensuring Stella finally had the loving home she deserved.
