“I know she’s going to love it. It’s going to be the best day ever,” her mom said, preparing for the climb.

The timid dog from the sidewalk was gone, replaced by a fearless explorer leading the way up the mountain.

“Immediately when I saw them together, I was like, ‘Okay,'” her mom laughed. “They created such a unique little bond. She was like, ‘Daddy’s girl’ immediately.”

The family expanded again when Sunny welcomed a little brother, proving she had enough love to go around.
