A Heartbreaking Holiday
Holidays are often a time of celebration and family, but for one senior dog named Benny, the 4th of July brought only confusion and heartbreak. His family had decided they simply didn’t want him anymore.
Instead of keeping him safe, they abandoned him at the Bushwick Police Station. Adding to the sting of the situation, they called 911 and specifically stated they didn’t want to leave “it” outside.
