After surviving alone under an abandoned South Carolina house, a uniquely adorable rescue dog named Otis finds a loving home, a special bond with his new brother, and a family who carries him down the stairs.

A Rough Beginning

Otis’s life didn’t start with the comforts of a warm bed or a loving family. His rescue backstory revealed that he had been found living all alone underneath an abandoned house.

They have become absolute best friends who love to spend their days together. Their favorite activities include wrestling and roughhousing in the living room.

“Within 24 hours of Otis being in our house, I was just like, oh my god, I love him so much, I would do anything for him,” his dad shared.

Now, Otis never has to worry about surviving on his own again. “Every single day, I’m just so excited to come home and see him.”
