A Desperate Plea
When a Chicago-based rescue organization called One Tail at a Time posted a picture of Kobe, they hoped for a miracle. The senior dog desperately needed a lifeline.
A dedicated volunteer saw his photo and noticed that nobody else was offering to help. Knowing what awaited him at the city shelter, she made a life-saving decision.
“Okay, you know what? I’ll take him,” she decided. She agreed to take the ailing dog into her home as a foster, giving him the second chance he so desperately needed.
The Heartbreaking Reality
